SCC has received support and help from Peter Tortorici, Chair of the Cayuga County Legislature; Michael D. Quill, Mayor of Auburn; Vijay Mital, Chairman of the Cayuga County Industrial Development Agency; Steve Lynch, Chief Executive Officer of the Cayuga County Industrial Development Agency; Edward Ide, Supervisor of the Town of Aurelius; and Michael Nozzolio, New York State Senator. US Senators Schumer and Gillibrand, Congressmen Hanna, former Congressman Arcuri, and Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb have all been briefed, and are in support of our project. We also organized a series of meetings with members of the community to build support and to assure continued dialog.

The fact that we will create 70 full-time, permanent manufacturing jobs and 150 construction jobs is one of the reasons why we have received such support. In additon to the direct jobs being created within our company, we will support the jobs on about twelve farms in the region, by our purchase of milk from these farms.
